How to dress fashionably for a heatwave?

It is still summer here in UAE. And for almost six months of my stay here, I’ve noticed that hot and humid weather is inevitable. (Well, what more could you expect in a desert).

So the best ways to fight that heat wave is to dress appropriately... In a fashionable way!

Tips:
1.)    Cotton, linen and silks are natural fabrics, which means these fabrics let air move through them.  And there are plenty of choices for your various clothing needs, from casual to dress.

2.)    Flowing garments and loose fitting is on the trend. So grab that chance and shop your nearest stores for boyfriend shirts, A-line tunics, and skirts.

3.)    You can layer your casual outfits like polo-shirts or tunics with cardigans or jackets for more office look without salvaging your summer statement.

4.)    Light colored clothes reflects the sun which keeps heat away from the body. While dark colors do the other side. (That is what my elementary teacher says, and Science proved that)

5.)    Take care of your foot as well.  Don’t wear socks that don’t breath, or shoes that is too snugly.  Wear canvass shoes or espadrille. They are perfect for stroll during hot summer days.

6.)    Wearing hats with brims provides summer protection from UV rays.

7.)    Don’t forget to complete your look with that perfect eyewear.
