Coiling and stitching rope are the techniques that designer Eleanor Bolton applies to her own craft. She practiced this skill during her MA at the Royal College of Art. Using a contrasting colors of strings, she intricately twist and coils it to define symmetry. Her jewelries rejoice the softness and versatility of the material.
“My practice has always focused on an innovative use of materials. I am interested in how a material can be manipulated using simple techniques to create something unexpected and unusual, ” said Bolton.
