My Poster Designs for Our Exhibit

This post is not about fashion. However, I want to share with you the series of my designs for our upcoming art exhibit. I was in charge for the concept and layout. The challenge here is to design a poster that can help our event / exhibit to bring information in a bold precise way. I started creating concepts about minimalism. Well, the title of our exhibit is GATHERING – it is a collaboration of different artist honed by their craft.

SUBURBIA (WHITE SERIES)

SUBURBIA (BLACK SERIES)

The four designs above are not approved, so I made a final layout. This time I make sure that the "Art" concept was there, using the minimalist formula. After, few hours, this is the product.

They love it. It is simple and yet the message of artistry is there.

You are all invited to our group exhibit (painting, photography, fashion, graphic design). November 21, 2011, Philamlife Manila, Ground Floor.

Thanks to Mam Almina Tengco for helping us to make this exhibit come true, also to our event coordinator  and artist as well, DJ Brian Chino Bayungan.

HUGS,
TONI

I find it very interesting how design concepts evolve. Thank you for sharing. How did the exhibition go?

Thanks Amandaf-displays. I really appreciate it. Well, the event goes well. Many people came to see the exhibition, in fact two of my photography -entry were chosen by a private company to display in their company.
